Alsatian Winemaker Dinner with Marie Albrecht

The history of the Albrecht family as wine grower can be traced back to 1425 with Romanu Albrecht, who was settled in the town of Than.

Lucien Albrecht is one of the oldest wineries and dynasties in the French wine-making industry with production dating back to 1698, utilizing the same house, cellars and winery for generations. Currently sold in 30 countries, Lucien Albrecht wines have won many gold medals with notable Rieslings, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Noir and sparkling Cremant d’Alsace.

The Albrecht estate spans 9 villages and includes some of the most prestigious terroirs in Alsace, including vineyards and monopoles in the Grand Crus Pfingstberg and several Clos- Clos Schild, Clos Himmelreich, and Clos des Recollets.

Marie, the Export Director and daughter of the current family head, Jean Albrecht, will share her family’s amazing history during this special dinner at Lake Park Bistro. Executive Chef, Adam Siegel and Chef de Cuisine, Zak Baker, will prepare a dinner menu with 5 courses of food and wine, including the ‘Cuvee Marie’, named after Marie.
